In today’s episode, we’ll be chatting about five cold pitching tools. View the original article over on my website, The Happy Arkansan.
AngelList
If you want to pitch startups, you need to be on AngelList. AngelList is a place for startups to list their companies, jobs, and more. I use it to find potential companies to cold pitch.
LinkedIn is another excellent tool for finding companies and the people who work for them. I use LinkedIn and Find That Email to find exact contact details for potential cold pitches.
Grammarly
Cold pitches need to be grammatically correct, so I run all of my cold pitches through Grammarly before I send them.
MailTrack
Being left on read is the worst feeling, but sometimes clients just haven’t opened emails at all. MailTrack helps you track opens, clicks, and more through an invisible pixel placed in the emails you send. I use MailTrack’s Pro version, so I get even more advanced features.
Client Website
Lastly, you need the client website so you can do research and understand how you can best help them. You should always give the client site a once over before you send a pitch in.
